Please consider shipping chocolate with dry ice to keep it from melting. Although heat melts chocolate, ice packs will add moisture which will ruin the chocolate. Look for your closest dry ice supplier online!

Bulk buying refers to the purchase of multiple quantities of product in exchange for a lower price per unit. Retailers or consumers based on their need can make this type of purchase.

Anything that may not be sent within the United States may not be sent internationally. Many countries have additional prohibitions to obey.

International orders are delivered to your specified freight forwarding entity. Sales are made on "EX-WORKS" (Customs incoterm) term. We will deliver the merchandise to your specified freight forwarder in the general area of the store where you purchase the merchandise for a delivery fee.

P.O. boxes are among the safest, securest places to send shipments. Since they’re physically located inside the Post Office and under tight surveillance, and accessible only via key or combination lock, you can usually ensure customer privacy and security when shipping to a post office box.

Though you generally are not required to register a gift card in order to use it in stores or restaurants, the process is fairly important if you intend to use the gift card online.

CARING FOR CHOCOLATE

chocolates are very sensitive to any excessive condition, whether too hot or too cold. Chocolates can be adversely affected if exposed to unfavourable conditions after manufacture which results in bloom. Bloom is a greyish coating on the surface of chocolates and is more visible on dark chocolate. We take every care in the handling of our products within our own distribution system, however once the product leaves our care we have little control over such things as the storage conditions for example, the temperature and humidity the chocolate is kept in..

Gray Bloom or White Streaks: If at any time the chocolate is heated beyond the tempering zones, it will burn or a gray "bloom" or white streaks will appear on the outside when cooled. Repeat tempering process.

Fat bloom happens if the chocolate has encountered temperature changes. Fat bloom is when the fat (cocoa butter) melts and separates itself from the cocoa solids. As the cocoa butter re-solidifies, it works its way to the surface of the chocolate, leaving those gray streaks or white blotches. Fat bloom is often due to poor storage conditions.

Sugar bloom is characterized by a white, dusty, grainy coating that appears on the surface of chocolate. To understand why this occurs, you first need to recall two things: Chocolate consists of ground cocoa beans as well as sugar—and that means sugar crystals are distributed throughout the chocolate.

You should consume chocolate bars within two to four months after the ‘best before’ date. This can extend to six months if stored in the fridge, or up to eight months in the freezer. Boxed chocolates – After cracking open a box, chocolates should stay good for six to nine months.

The optimum temperature for chocolate to be stored at is between 14-16°C. Fridges are very high humidity environments, which is not suitable for chocolate due to the high moisture, which can result in sugar bloom. When you do, it is best to place the chocolate in an airtight container or double wrap in plastic and place in the bottom section of the fridge. Bring the chocolate to room temperature slowly before unpacking, several hours before consuming.

Please refer to the “Best Before” date printed on the packaging. The “Best Before” date on our chocolate products is a quality tool. It assures that the quality of a product consumed at the end of the shelf life still lives up to the Lindt quality expectation when stored at the right conditions. Best Before dating is designed as a consumer friendly method to help the customer understand the freshness of the item. Lindt products typically have a shelf life of 9-12 months, and some high cocoa content products can have a shelf life up to 15 or 18 months.
